Core guidance

Simple everyday care, in one place.

These notes are intentionally conservative and practical: gentle heat, soft utensils, mild cleaning, and model-specific induction checks.

Before first use

  • Wash cookware with warm water and mild dish soap, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
  • Remove any packaging materials fully before placing cookware on heat.
  • Review induction compatibility on the family page for your specific model.

Everyday cooking

  • Use low to medium heat for everyday stovetop cooking.
  • Center cookware on the burner and avoid allowing flames or heat to extend past the base.
  • Do not leave cookware empty over heat for extended periods.
  • Use oven mitts when moving hot cookware.

Oven guidance

  • Use oven temperatures up to 350F.
  • Avoid broiler use and avoid placing cookware close to direct grill or broiler elements.
  • Handles and lids may become hot during oven use.

Utensils and nonstick care

  • Wood, nylon, or silicone utensils are preferred.
  • Avoid sharp-edged metal tools, knives, or cutting inside the pan.
  • A light amount of oil is fine; avoid heavy aerosol buildup from nonstick sprays.

Cleaning and storage

  • Dishwasher safe, with hand washing preferred.
  • Avoid bleach, steel wool, oven cleaners, coarse scouring pads, or abrasive powders.
  • Let cookware cool before washing and dry thoroughly before storing.
  • Use pan protectors or paper towels when stacking.
Smooth cooktops & lids

Special notes for ceramic/glass surfaces and glass lids.

Ceramic and glass stovetops

  • Do not place a very hot pan onto a cool glass surface.
  • Avoid dragging cookware across smooth tops.
  • Keep the cooktop surface free from grit or food buildup before setting down cookware.

Glass lid handling

  • Avoid sudden temperature changes.
  • Let lids cool before washing.
  • Do not use chipped or damaged lids.
